What caused me to intitially purchase this watch was the aesthetic appeal: indeed, as one reviewer wrote, it is a nice-looking watch from the online photo; however, it is absurdly big and looks foolish in person. I have small wrists so this just makes it even more absurd. With such a monstrous face how can it not look goofy and cheap?
Another flaw of the watch is how loud it is. How loud? Stupidly loud, like the thunder of artillery fire loud. No matter where I am, I can hear it ticking. Last night, as I lay in bed, I heard it in my closet ticking; that just annoyed me to the point where I decided I needed to write a review to warn people. That's how loud it is--like a damn wall clock.
Overall, in my opinion, no watch over $100 should be able to be heard "ticking." The watch does not feel like it's worth the price and it does not look like it's worth the price. I say get something other than Big Ben here--you'll be happy you did.
