(More customer reviews)I did not pick this up at Amazon but at a local store. I wanted to see the watch and have time to evaluate the quality. It is made of strong lightweight material. I have seen a few persons used to boat anchor watches I guess criticize the watch because they say it feels cheap. Well it feels lightweight to me not cheap and is on par with other watches using more space age light strong material. I am betting that it will hold up very well as my other 2 Wenger watches have. They keep excellent time and have very good luminescence. Typical Swiss watch quality. Having a unidirectional bezel is always a plus for flying or other sports.
Another great feature of this watch is the fact that the back can be removed by the owner to replace the battery in the field.
Since the bezel is polycarbonate and the case is steel coated with polycarbonate the watch should hold up under severe field conditions.
It is water resistant to 50 meters which should be adequate for most military and other field use.
