I've had 2 'old' Swiss Army watches for 11 years. I lost one and replaced it with this. In 11 years on the 2 watches I had to change the time twice a year when the clocks changed. That's it! The most precise watches you will ever find whether you buy a $50 or $500 model. Never ceased to amaze me.
You should know the drawbacks of this model, however:
1. It is VERY heavy. I can't wear it in warmer weather.
2. The band needs to be adjusted by a jeweller.
3. The Swiss Army logo is not red - it's silver and blends in with the rest of the watch. What's up with that? I want my red logo!
4. The hands are not luminous so it's no help in the dark.
5. The hands being silver blend in making this not the easiest watch to read during the day either.
6. The chronograph is functional but will you ever use it? No. But it looks cool, so there!
It keeps amazingly accurate time. While it's heavy it has a nice quality heft to it. If you like a lightweight watch, this is not for you. Definitely a "man's watch."
While I'd change a few things (see above) it's still a beautiful watch, keeps precise time and I know it will last for many years. Also, the crystals on Swiss Army watches simply don't scratch. How they do it, I don't know. Two watches - 11 years - NO scratches.
If you can live with the above you will love this watch!
