Unlike its more utilitarian brethren, the Escort adds a dash of high style to its precise Swiss timing. It offers a six-jewel quartz movement and a chronograph timer that can measure events to 1/10 of a second and up to 30 minutes. The tall, rectangular silver watch case frames black dial that's complemented by silver Arabic numeral markers, small minute indexes, luminous dagger hands (with seconds hand), date window at 4 o'clock, and three tonal chrono subdials. It's matched to a smooth black leather strap. Other features include the classic Swiss Army insignia at 12 o'clock, a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.
