(More customer reviews)I just wanted a basic, understated, durable watch and thought this would fill the bill. It has. It's beautiful in a minimalist sort of way, with fluorescent numbers and hands, and a whisper quiet mechanism. Setting the time and date is simple and it keeps perfect time. The cover of the watch casing and the wrist band appear to be made of the same tough, black rubber, and enough holes are punched in the band to keep my wrist from sweating.
One aesthetic note: The face of the watch looks more elegant than the photos here. I think they either removed the crystal to reduce reflections in the photo or used a polarizing filter. Be advised that the clearly visible inner ring encircling the numbers in the photo is actually a 45-degree-ish beveled surface that completely disappears when the crystal is in place.
