It's the third one I've had, because I went into the water twice without making sure the crown was screwed tight. I wear lots of silver bracelets together, and this goes with them, nice and loose like a bracelet. The red face is a really nice plus! Thanks - I plan to take much better care of this one.

(More customer reviews)I'm more the utilitarian watch type. I like a simple, sturdy, easy-to-read, classic looking watch and this one definitely fits those criteria. I've tried three cheaper watches that look similar and each has held up for about a year before having a problem with either water, the face cracking, or the metal chipping.
I've only had this one for a month, but it seems much more solid than the other watches I've had trouble with. The price was also significantly cheaper on Amazon than any similar Swiss Army watches I could find elsewhere. One thing that I particularly appreciate is that it doesn't tick loudly as can be the case with some Timex Expedition watches. Also, this watch is a little larger than the other women's watches I have had, so it suits me, a small wristed fellow, quite well.

So in strong light it is difficult to see the numbers because they are reflective. However, the watch hands are white, so I get by. Also, the watch does not glow in the dark.

As far as Swiss Army by Victorinox, it is a quality company with quality products. I've tried many other watch brands over the years, but I am now brand loyal to Swiss Army by Victorinox. Do not be fooled by other Swiss Army labels; unless it is by Victorinox it isn't the quality product you really want. Their watches are gorgeous, long-lasting, and durable. You have to compare them for yourself and you will immediately see and feel the quality.

I love that the watch is a bold size and weight: I feels like you are wearing a nice piece of jewelry, without being too bulky. I do, however, wish it had numbers instead of lines, and that the face and/or digits, showed up in the dark. I wear it most every day, and I like it very much.

(More customer reviews)It's a nice one, it's not too glitzy or too big. I liked a lot of the other ones with diamonds but the red on this watch makes it look like a more feminine timepiece. I had to go to the store to get it sized but that's to be expected, better too big than too small. Overall a great looking watch for an awesome price. When i got it resized i saw one just like it at the jewlers and it was retailing at over $300 so completely worth it.
