Watchband Link Remover Tool Review

To start, yes, this is cheap. If you are paying $3.50 to try to size your own watch instead of spending $10 at a local jeweler, chances are you are cheap too (as am I :).
The question isn't is it cheap...the question is, does it do the job you want it to. The short answer is yes. It worked extremely well for me. Does the pin remover wiggle? Yes. Just take a minute and line it up. Also, make sure you are pushing the pins straight through and not at an angle (basic physics here...duh, right?). I didn't even break any of the pins (something I have heard some people complain about)...I think this is less likely if you do a good job of lining the pin pusher up with the pins.
One of the reviews mentioned that it was hard to see the alignment of the watch pins and the pin pusher. While this is true, I don't understand how this is a strike against the product. Have you seen the size of the pins on your watch? If you think that somehow this is the fault of this product, I think your expectations may be a bit high. If you have trouble seeing small things, I would just suggest not doing the work yourself.

If you are at all mechanically inclined, you won't have a problem using this. Just make sure you use your patience too.
I would definitely purchase this again. Even if this fell apart tomorrow, it was still cheaper than going to a jeweler, and I really enjoyed doing the work myself.

SE Watch Case Wrench, Adjustable Review

The tool itself seems just fine, and I like the idea of the 3 prongs, but it will not open large enough to fit the back of my Casio dive watch, which is the watch I bought it for. I'm having to buy one of those tools that just has two prongs, since that's what I've seen several jewelers use. If this one would open another 1/16th of an inch, it would have worked well, I'm sure.

Watch Band Link Pin Remover for Bracelet Adjustments with 2 Extra Pins Review

This is a great concept. However, the pins it works with are not the right size for my watch, even though the info states it should work with my watch. My watch pins are much smaller. It is a thick sturdy plastic and should last a long time. But, it doesn't work with all watchband pin sizes.

SE Watch Case Wrench, Adjustable, Jaxa Type Review

Awhile back my watch battery died so I needed a new one. I remembered seeing a quick repair shop for watches at the mall so off I went. When I got there I asked the man if he could replace my watch battery and he said yes and to return in ten minutes it would be ready. So I handed him my watch and went window shopping for a few. I returned some time later and picked it up.
A few days later I got to thinking "what kind of condition is the o-ring in and did it need any lubrication?". After a few more days of wondering I said to myself "I have to find out!!!" Looking at the back of the watch I noticed I would need a special kind of tool to remove the back. So I got on the internet and after searching for a bit found one with good reviews. After nine dollars plus shipping and a couple days of waiting it came in the mail.
Now I was ready and it was time to inspect the o-ring. As I was getting everything together I had a chance to inspect the case opener tool.
The case tool also comes with four different keys that fit four different casebacks. I easily figuring out which ones would fit mine so I proceeded to put them into the case opener tool itself. The keys snapped perfectly in place. Very similar to a wrench and socket but reverse. Now matter what position the wrench is in the keys will not fall out.
After unscrewing the caseback I noticed right away that the o-ring was bone dry!
Good thing I had some silicone in the garage.
I lubricated the o-ring and cleaned up the areas that would come in contact with the o-ring.
I put the o-ring back in it's rightful place and gave the caseback a few turns with my hand until it seated. I gave the caseback a snug fit with the caseback tool but not too tight!
Now the o-ring is lubricated and in good shape making the watch truly waterproof.
Mission Accomplished!
If I had to rate the watch caseback tool I would have to give it 5 out 5. It works as advertised and well worth the money. If your interested in lubricating o-rings or putting new batteries in your watch then this tool is for you.

Awkward to position the bracelet correctly, and somewhat hard to use on bracelets 22mm or larger. The pin on mine broke after maybe 10 uses. Replacement pins are supposed to be available, but I haven't found any.

Watch Case Opener Wrench Tool For Waterproof Watches Caseback Review

I order this item, thinking that it was a tool I would use maybe once a year or so and if it was of lower quality so what... well I got it and I was surprised as to how well its made and how easy it is to use, if your not mechanically inclined any one of these tools would be hard to work. Yeah it takes a few minutes and a little bit of patience to get the back off the watch but it beats waiting for the watch repair shop to do it. Yes it comes packed with some rust inhibitors on it, just wipe it down with a cloth and get to work.
