(More customer reviews)I've been eyeing this watch for some time and, as most folks do, comparing it to the Breitling Aerospace. For the price tag, this watch does a very admirable job. Save for a lack of a couple features and cosmetic options, if one is looking for a watch of this type, they will most likely be pleased.
My issues with it are predominantly cosmetic. As with most all of Swiss Army's (SA) watches, it should be offered in stainless. In fact, the watch is stainless, but has a gun metal gray PVD coating on it. While that's fine, SA should also offer it in traditional stainless. Secondly, the watch is too big just as the digital displays are too small. The watch could be read easily from 20-30 ft away, but the digital display is comparatively really, really small. Thirdly, as mentioned in another review(s), for a watch of this caliber, SA should have made it night-viewable. I suspect that was likely debated during the watch's design, and ultimately should have been a feature of watch. Perhaps battery life was the culprit. So, after getting the watch, I had it for exactly 24 hours before returning it to Amazon. I really wanted to like this watch, but even the excellent price could not overcome the lack of some basic features and cosmetic options.
