(More customer reviews)Watch second hand would jump forward and backward, lots of play. Minute hand had 30 sec. of play, would flop back and forth. Amazon return was fast and easy.
Ordered same watch as replacement. This time the watch hour and minute hand would pulse with the second hand. Returned to Amazon.
Went to a local Authorized Dealer and ordered the same watch. Watch had the same problems as the first watch ordered from Amazon. Local AD couldn't believe it, called their Victorinox Sales Rep. The Rep. said it must have been a fluke so they sent another one same problems. Money refunded and local AD appologized.
I would not buy this watch model, 4 watches is not a fluke. Victorinox quality and quality control for this watch is terrible. I'm sure other models are okay, try a different model or brand.

He wears his watch ALL THE TIME (while sleeping, sometimes in the shower), so he is very hard on a watch. The loops that hold the band down both broke after 4 months. We are asking for a replacement strap.

Victorinox Swiss Army Men's 241131 Night Vision II Black Dial Watch Review

(More customer reviews)My wife bought this for me for Christmas. I was looking for a watch with a rubber band and big numbers. The dial is easy to read and the little blue LED on the face that activates when you push the single button makes it easy to get to see in the dark. The white LED at the top of the watch (activate by double-tapping the button) is the killer feature. How many times have you fumbled for keys in the dark or tried to find a lightswitch? It's surprisingly bright. The periodic red flashing LED at the base of the watch face seems totally gratuitous, though.
I have pretty narrow wrists so I have to put the strap on the last notch to get it to fit right. It looks a little big on me but will probably look perfect on someone with normal sized wrists. I can't say anything to the durability yet but working great so far.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Men's Garrison watch for myself and a similar Swiss Army watch for my wife. I made the assumption that the pricing at Amazon would be at least competitive with other places. Restated: I didn't shop around or do my due diligence. Shame on me. I paid $233 + tax for the Garrison.
I received both watches in a timely fashion. My wife's watch was fine, no problems. On opening the Garrison, I noted a price tag attached to the watch - $135. I was a bit confused. So, I did my due diligence. I found the watch at REI for $100. Other places for around $120.
I returned the Garrison to Amazon for refund. No problem. However, what's with the incorrect pricing? I'll give Amazon a pass on this and consider it an honest mistake in inventory and pricing.
In the future, if I do business with Amazon, I will do my due diligence, shop around first.
Five Stars??? Well, the watch is really cool. Highly recommended! The experience was disappointing.

If you order the watch from Webjeweller.com, it comes from Canada, and at least 100 dollars US less than anywhere else I looked.I had some problems receiving the watch. UPS lost it, but Webjeweller promptly sent out another one. After I got it, it was running too fast. I took it to an authorized service repair center (near me) and they fixed it at no cost. This is the first year of this model (automatic wind) and I expected some problems. It will only get more expensive if you wait. The watch itself is simply beautiful, without being gawdy, and the 3 year warranty is excellent for this class.

Infanty Watch-LEATHER- Review

(More customer reviews)I am notoriously hard on my watches and have paid far more money for watches that fall apart on me within one or two years. I have had the infantry man watch for 3.5 years now, and it is still going strong. A few scratches in the crystal have appeared over time and the watch case has a few slight dings, but functionally the watch is in great shape and it keeps time perfectly.
My one criticism is that the watch band is made of paper. It fell apart on me within 6 months. When I called the company to see if they would send me a new one, they said that they did not warranty the band - I suppose I wouldn't either if I knew how quickly it would fall apart. All tolled, it is a simple, hard wearing watch for a reasonable price. If I had the opportunity to buy it all over again, I would probably pay more for a more upgraded model with a metal-link band.

(More customer reviews)I was excited about this watch but actual experience did not meet my expectations. It was difficult to read the time in certain lights as the hands are nearly the same color as the face. It was impossible to read at night as the illumination fades after a couple of hours in the dark. Lastly, the retaining straps for the comfortable nitrile band kept moving and would not stay in place. They need to anchor the retaining bands or at least one of them. If you want a compfortable watch and have excellent eye sight this watch may be for you but don't look for the time in the middle of the night. You won't see it.
