(More customer reviews)I purchased this watch from a retailer with a tag price of $750.00 cdn. I have to say I was quite impressed with the craftmanship. It's a fairly large watch at 45mm but the excellent leather strap makes it very wearable. I looked at quite a few Swiss Army watches at this location and I am quite certain there will be more than one in my collection. I offered the salesman $700.00 taxes included and walked away a happy consumer. I feel if you're looking for a sharp watch at a fairly reasonable price then definitely look at the Swiss Army brand. (More customer reviews)Let's face it, this is just a very cool watch. I mean, just look at it. Straight-forward, no-nonsense, and easy to read. Nothing techno-geeky about it.
Timex produces a number of such watches that are an ideal choice for outdoor activities. They are durable, resistant to the elements, and if they are lost it's no big deal. And is anyone going to rob you for a watch that costs less than $30? If they do, so what? Something to keep in mind if you do a lot of travelling.
On the practical side, I find nylon and leather watches straps to be far more comfortable than metal-link bands under most situations. Particularly when out all day in the sun.
There is a time and a place for watches that are essentially jewelry. But when travelling or in the outdoors it's nice to have a watch that is comfortable, absolutely dependable, and something you're not at all worried about.

(More customer reviews)The watch looks amazing for a mid grade watch. The crystal is super clear and the face has alot of depth. I cannot se any flaws in this watch at all. For the calf skin band, its a little stiff i dont know if it will soften up any. This is my first non metal watch band so it may be normal i have nothing to compare it to.
I have a smaller wrist (6.5inch) and the watch is a perfect fit. The band is a little long for my wrist size but nothing terrible its on notch 3 out of 9.
Overall its a great looking watch for casual and dress. Only other watch in this price range i could find was the tissot prc200 which is a little more dressy in my opinion becasue of the polished case.

(More customer reviews)I never write reviews about anything I buy, but I felt that I needed to because this watch has had zero reviews written on it but is an awesome watch! The watch is EXTREMELY lightweight and classy due to it not having any of those "bright colors" that the rest of the Colormark series seem to have. The blue tritium is a little dimmer than the green stuff but overall still very visible in "low light" conditions. The strap is very comfortable for being made out of rubber. The vertical tritium vial on the bezel is visible and I only note this because some have stated that the Colormark series seem to have been lacking in that department. The only downside is that the second hand does not sweep directly onto the second marker. This may or may not be a huge "turn off" for most people but I have never owned a watch that had the second hand come close to the second marker on its sweep. However, this watch actually does come the closest to having the second hand "sweep correctly." All in all, this is a great watch that will be my "kickaround" watch from now on...I hope this helps in your decision making...

(More customer reviews)I bought the watch from amazon and got a really smokin' price on it. I was pretty excited when I got it. Heavy, sharp looking, and well made. The very first day I wore it though, I noticed one of the tritium markers on #2 and part of the one on #1 were sitting crooked in the hole they are mounted in. I tapped on the bezel and the marker on #1 settled back in place, but the one on #2 was still sitting drastically crooked in the mount. I was worried about it falling out, because of previous reviews on these watches so I called and sent it back to Luminox. The guy was very nice the first time I called, but was all but impossible to get on the phone after that. It took almost a month just to pull another one off the shelf, give it a quick look over and return the replacement to me. The replacement watch seems to be fine. I'm am extremely pleased with the look and feel of the watch, but I am having some question about the quality control and durability over the long haul for the money. I think for a supposed swiss made watch they need better quality control and they damn sure need better, or at least more accessible, customer service reps. If the watch will hold up and be durable it is worth 5 stars, but it was a little rocky getting started with it.

(More customer reviews)Caveat Emptor! I purchased this watch thru Amazon from WatchZone.com. I discovered just 4 weeks after purchase one of the pins that attaches the band to the watch body had fallen apart. I contacted WatchZone (the vendor) about getting a replacement pin to attach the band to the watch body. They emailed me back with a phone number for a factory authorized service center. I called the service center and found out that because I purchased the watch thru Amazon, the warranty is void and I must pay to get it repaired! I attempted to contact Luminox only to find out their website does not work--almost like they have disappeared off the web. I will not be purchasing anymore watches thru Amazon to say the least. I certainly will not be purchasing another Luminox. I simply wanted a rugged watch for work. Next time, I will save 80 dollars and buy a Timex. I am sure Timex honors their warranties.

(More customer reviews)This is a well made watch at a great price. Fast ship. The first watch was received with a problem. Contacted the seller and it was quickly replaced. One unique feature with this watch is the second hand does not rotate when just keeping normal time. Took a little getting use to. I assume this will help extend battery life. The watch comes with a generic instruction manual for all Victorinox watches which is hard to understand. There is a manual availabe at the Victorinox web site just for the AirBoss line that is much better.
