The tough style and durable build of the Victorinox Swiss Army Men's Maverick Watch is sure to look great with any casual attire. The round, silver-toned stainless steel case has a polished finish and is topped with a black bezel. The unidirectional bezel features a tachymeter, silver-toned Arabic numerals, and minute markings. The black dial is easy to see with luminous, silver-toned hour and minute hands, a silver-toned second hand, and silver-toned Arabic numerals at each hour position with the exception of the six and twelve o'clock positions. A date window is displayed at the six o'clock hour and the Swiss Army logo is displayed at the twelve o'clock hour. The silver-toned stainless steel bracelet securely fastens with a fold-over-clasp-with-safety. I DIDNT EVEN GET REFUNDED ON THE COST FOR 2DAY SHIPPING NOR DID ANYONE EVEN SUGGEST SOME SORT OF REFUND. THE WATCH IS BEAUTIFUL BUT I DOUBT I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.

The only problem is that the book that comes with the watch does not do a good job of explaining how to use the stopwatch functions. My husband had to visit a jeweler who carried the watch to teach him how to use the different functions. I found that the blue face makes the watch look more high end over the black face. So far, we are very happy with the watch.

(More customer reviews)This is an absolutely gorgeous watch and one of the best I've seen from Victorinox. It is a discontinued timepiece and amazon is one of the few remaining places you can find it for a good price. I was a bit hesitant to buy the watch from an unauthorized dealer but after some thought I became confident in buying from amazon-they do, after all, have a reputation to uphold and provide a good warranty. The watch is engraved with the swiss product number (V.25162) and the complete packaging comes with a EAN (european bar #) and ASIN. Do not expect a serial number engraved on this watch, as it has been distributed on the european market. This is a really beautiful watch, heavyset 15mm thick case and you can tell its of the highest quality (top of the line swiss army). I contacted Victorinox directly regarding this watch on amazon and here is the dialogue:

I am looking to find a chrono pro (24162) for sale...I find some on the internet priced around 900$ but the catalogue number is V25162...is that a valid item number? It is also inscribed on the caseback...this is listed on Amazon.com.

The barcode tag on the watch has a number ASIN 7611160307354 and an additional number on the box EAN B001F9T408. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for contacting Victorinox Swiss Army. No you will probably not have a serial number as the watch you purchased came from the international market. The product numbers sold in the US begin with 24... The international numbers begin with 25... and are not serialized

(More customer reviews)First some specs: 46mm case and wears like 47 with the large dial opening. Extremely accurate movement that is about +2 seconds in 24 hours for me. Love the 6498 with the sub second by the 6 o'clock, by the way. Power reserve is longer than two full days, possibly around 55 hours and is the longest power reserve I've ever seen. Beautiful dial, thick and sturdy bracelet with safety clasp, and the beautiful exhibition case back to see the unitas movement. This watch goes with everything from a suit coat to a t-shirt and jeans. It really is an exceptional killer timepiece.
